Mrs. Hook is the 9th grade band director at Northview and is responsible for conducting 9th grade concert band, 9th grade jazz band, and 8th and 9th grade woodwind lessons. She also coaches the AHS Marching Hawks Color Guard and works with the NV Color Guard in the spring.
After graduating from Ankeny High School, Mrs. Hook attended the University of Northern Iowa and earned a bachelor's degree in instrumental music education.  She is very excited to be back teaching at her alma mater.

Outside of school, Mrs. Hook enjoys spending time with her family: her husband, who is also a band director, and her two-and-a-half-year-old twin sons.
